hi, i'm tessa!

So, first of all — what do you think of the art in my header? That's my little brother's work. I had a print of it on my cap for graduation. I am probably the luckiest person in the world.

My name is Tessa, though you may see me out in the world as Tessa Em, Tessa Murphy (my pen name) or Tessa Hakimian-Grimm (my partners' names!). I am bisexual, nonbinary, polyamorous, neurodivergent, disabled, and chronically ill; I am a writer, an editor, a poet, a performer, a dancer, a teaching artist, and a freelancer. I am also hopelessly dependent on the semicolon.
